8th Grade Titans: Apply to the Governor's School for the Arts by December 8! There is a virtual information session for Isle of Wight County students October 18 at 7:00PM which will explain how to apply and audition to attend the Governor's School for the Arts. 2 Hour Early Dismissal for All IWCS Schools With the concern for flooding and strong winds across the county this afternoon, all Isle of Wight County Schools and Offices will be dismissing TWO (2) hours early today. In addition, all after school activities are canceled for today.

It reads a visitor's identification (such as a driver's license or state-issued photo ID card), cross-references it against a national database of registered sex offenders from all 50 states, and promptly alerts administrators if a match is found.
