About Me
I am excited to be one of the PE/Health teachers here at Georgie D. Tyler Middle School. I have been in education since 2021. I was an instructional assistant at Hardy Elementary for 3 years and a reading remediation teacher at Gildersleeve Middle School in Newport News for 1 year. I have a strong passion for sports, fitness, and health, which leads me to my goal for students: to gain the necessary knowledge and skill to ensure they make lifelong healthy choices and remain physically fit. My focus is on teaching through active & kinesthetic learning, as well as learning that implements a form of technology. I hope to help inspire each student to enjoy physical activity and to want to learn more about human health!
