In 2015, I began my teaching career with Teach For America in New Bedford, Massachusetts as a Reading Interventionist. I was also a long-term sub for sixth grade Science that same year. The following year, I began teaching eighth grade Science and a STEM elective. I joined Isle of Wight County Schools in 2017, teaching 6-8 Innovation and Technology. I earned my Bachelors of Science from Old Dominion University in 2014. More recently, I began a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston University.
Being a teacher is one of the most rewarding careers. Education is our right, our tool, and our future. I am passionate about the content I teach and dedicated to motivating students to succeed. I believe in students full potential and will work to make sure they feel supported.
