About Me

I have been teaching in Isle of Wight County Schools since 2015. I earned my bachelors degree from Christopher Newport University in 2010, and went back to school at Old Dominion University in spring of 2015 to earn my teaching degree. I absolutely love teaching, and enjoy my job every day. My goal is to help students gain confidence and comfort with reading, and I love to come up with creative ways to teach in the classroom. Every year I find building relationships with my students to be the most rewarding part of my job, and I look forward to having a positive impact in student's lives as the years go on.
